Despite the challenges facing the piano industry and declining sales figures, Yamaha is moving forward with a new initiative: the launch of Yamaha Artist Services Europe Paris, scheduled to open in January 2026. This new centre will serve as Yamaha’s European hub for piano services, complementing its facilities in Tokyo and New York.
 

Located on the Rive Gauche near the Eiffel Tower, the centre will feature a 100-seat multipurpose hall for concerts, masterclasses, and recordings, as well as rehearsal studios for pianists preparing for competitions and performances. Artists will also have access to Yamaha’s premium instruments, including the CFX Concert Grand, SX Series, and the Disklavier CFX, enabling high-definition recording and remote masterclasses.

The announcement has been warmly welcomed in the piano world. Pianist Alexandre Tharaud called the Paris centre a “refuge for musicians,” while Akiko Ebi described it as an “essential meeting point and source of inspiration for the entire musical community.”
 

With preview concerts beginning in September 2025, the Paris centre is expected to become a significant hub for collaboration, innovation, and support within the global piano industry.
